Juvela relaunch with new look product range.

Juvela are one of our classic gluten free brands! They have always been the safe option on the prescription list and a brand that provides high quality gluten free products. They probably don’t shout about it as loud as others, but that’s about to change!

Juvela have went back to the drawing board and have relaunched with a fantastic new look and website.

With a modern and vibrant design, Juvela will finally shed the old clinical, prescription friendly packaging

With lots of changes and cut backs in the prescribing of gluten free foods in England, the gluten free brands involved in the service had had to change their approach and now have to think about how to look more retail friendly, and project a more dynamic image that will stand out if launching in supermarket shelves and online. Juvela, of course are one of the main brands affected by the changes. I must admit when the brand launched last year in Tesco stores I was aware that the bread and rolls are of a high standard, but felt the price and design of packaging would struggle to appeal to new coeliacs or gluten free’ers.

So the new look is very welcome and hopefully will propel Juvela to the top of the gluten free shopping list.

Here’s a peek of some of the Juvela products and how they look now!

Fresh White Loaf

With its new ‘Artisan’ labelled fresh loaf, these are sure to stand out on the free from area in stores. Juvela have reminded people of their history with the ‘gluten free for 25 years’ statement. In my view this highly effective, modern and looks great.

Fresh Fibre Rolls

I’m a huge fan of Juvela rolls. With updated packaging on these, similar to the bread, I hope more people get to try them. A little tip for these, is to grill or oven for a few minutes then spread some butter for a softer melt in the mouth texture.

White mix

A huge prescription favourite, this versatile mix creates anything from cupcakes to croissants. One of my favourite Instagram pages showing the versatility of white mix comes from Bron Bradshaw. Bron is a huge supporter of Juvela and has created a brilliant e-book with white mix recipes.

White mix seems to be only available on prescription at the moment but would be something I would like to see in more outlets.

Corn Flakes

Gluten free cereal is something I struggled with when first diagnosed with coeliac disesed. I found that there is a slight blandness in the core cereals such as corn flakes and rice krispies. Saying that I think there has been huge improvements in quality and Juvela are one of the brands driving this.

The new packaging looks great on these and the squeeze of orange statement gives a fresh idea, alongside the refreshed packaging. Hopefully the brand can manage to get cereals in to more retailers.

Others

Another of the classic Juvela favourites to be refreshed are the classic crispbread and gluten free pasta range! With new modern packaging the products look so much more appealing and should be one of the first picks on the prescription list in areas that you can still access gluten free products.
